Red wine Jelly

Red Wine Grape Juice Jelly

This is another cool and child friendly dessert I made during this festive season after the Beer-like Apple Juice Jelly.

It's very easy to make this and you only need 2 ingredients! Just grape juice and gelatine powder! I used Pokka's Mixed Red & Kyoho Grape juice as I particularly love the fragrance of this beverage.

It was absolute fun making this! You have to try not to whisk too hard when mixing the melted gelatin into the grape juice so as not to create too much foam. A sieve will be useful in helping you remove as much foam as possible when pouring the mixture into serving glasses. I also try to spoon out as much bubbles as I can so that the jelly will resemble a glass of red wine more.

Come and get drunk again 'eating' this jelly. It's definitely a great treat for all ages, young and old, and a great hit for parties during this festive season!

Cheers!!

Red Wine Grape Juice Jelly

1. Scoop 3 tbspn of grape juice into a large microwave bowl. Cover and microwave for 30 seconds. Add gelatin powder and mix well until well dissolved.

2. Add in the rest of the grape juice, stirring constantly while adding.
3. Float the bottom of the bowl in ice water.

4. Stir the grape juice slowly till well mixed. Stir gently as you do not want to create too much foam.
